As one of the other original founding band members remaining in Agave, Chris Flores has been the steady back beat that has anchored the band throughout all it's different incarnations. A mostly self-taught drummer, with the exception of grade and middle school instrument courses, Chris has always had a deep love for percussion and music in general. As a young kid growing up in Mexico City, imitating KISS and Van Halen on a makeshift drum kit made of cardboard boxes, it was evident that music would always be a presence. From then on, he made it a point to always have a real drum kit in the house and play it as loud as possible. Music has always been a part of his life, whether it's going to concerts, listening to his favorite CDs after late nights of boozing or playing the drums in pretty much the best band that he knows of. One thing is for sure, music is his passion and he is not shy about letting people know it.
