J. Larry was a founding member of Agave before it was called Agave. He has been in the band long enough to go from rhythm acoustic guitar, to lead electric and rhythm guitar, to lap steel guitar, to his latest role as a bass player with sweet dance moves and dorky facial expressions. Not one to go for soft, romantic ballads or sugar-coated pop songs, J. Larry leans towards a harder-edged sound and is never happy sitting on one sissy note. Make no mistake, this is a man's man who drives a Harley on his spare time, owns a scuba shop, and runs a questionable midget-smuggling operation just south of the border.
