The long and tragic story of Agave front men reads like a page torn out of the Spinal Tap script. With the departure of the latest vocalist, Brad Paye, the remaining members of Agave quickly set out to find yet another new lead singer. After a couple of unsuccessful auditions it finally dawned on them, why not get their good friend Tony Goncalves to join the band? "He gets drunk and jumps on stage to sing with us anyway. He might as well come to practice and learn all the lyrics." So in the fall of 2004, Tony went to his first band practice and the rest has been history.
